Maintaining your deliverance. 9
Introduction
My purpose for writing this book is from self experience. The wounds and hurts that I experienced as a child left me as an open door for rejection. As a child I always felt unloved, unwanted, an area of low self- esteem, not having a voice. Things I went through that I couldn’t talk about even with my parents such as being raped and molested. I thought I was all right, I carried this for years. This rejection didn’t take full force in my life until I became a grown woman. Then and only then did I experience the darkness and full battle of rejection. I was delivered by the POWER OF GOD! As you read this book, I pray that the Lord will touch your life and bring you out of that dark area of rejection. This book is my testimony of my battle and deliverance from rejection. If He did for me, He’ll do it for you too!
Section 1
REJECTION
One may ask what is rejection? Well, rejection is when one feels a sense of not belonging, a sense of not being wanted, not loved, or accepted. It is prominent. We all have at one time, or another, felt rejection. It comes in various forms. Only God can bring you out of the clutches of the spirit of rejection.
Beginnings of Rejection
Rejection can start with a baby as early as in the womb when a mother to be wants an abortion or in the case where she accidentally got pregnant and now, she has regrets of having the baby and want to put the baby up for adoption. It can also come when a mother dread being pregnant. Rejection can begin to take root even before the baby has begun to form in the fetus stage.
Parents must be careful treating one child better than the other child because this can bring on a spirit of rejection as well. Instead of saying something wholesome, encouraging or uplifting, it is no wonder that a child feels rejected after he has been told by his mother that “you will never amount to anything, “you’re just like your old no-good daddy” or “I hate the day you were born!”
A person may feel a sense of rejection from a father or mother that has never been there for them. It will begin to form a question in their minds wondering if their parents love them. This spirit can also begin to form in the lives of those children that were placed in foster homes. This feeling of rejection becomes a stronger spirit as it prolongs.
Pastors must also be careful when it comes to the flock of not having picks, chooses and favorites because of all places, the spirit of rejection should not be in the church. This is where people come to receive deliverance. In marriage there can be a spirit of rejection in operation, whether it be the husband, the wife or both. Rejection opens doors for other spirits to be introduced.
Results of Rejection
Seldom people do not know that they are dealing with a spirit of rejection that will eventually open doors for other spirits to enter such as bitterness, rage, complacence, unforgiveness, low self-esteem, depression, hopelessness, anger, sadness, loneliness, retaliation and as a result, suicide, and death. One may feel as if he does not want to be bothered and will stay in his house with curtains shut tight, blinds pulled down and phone off the hook or turned down.
The spirit of rejection can drive the ones that love you so dearly away from you. These are all demon spirits that has been assigned to you and designed to crush your very life. People can go for years with this spirit of rejection riding their backs and not know it. People must be healed and delivered of the wounds and hurts from this ungodly monster called rejection. Rejection makes one feel unimportant like no one cares about them. The door of rejection must be closed. So, in my next chapter, I will discuss and teach you how to help to pull yourself out of the clutches of the enemy of rejection. The word of God says, For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) As we stay before God in prayer, He will always bring us through. Trust in Him and put all your confidence in Him. He is always there omnipresent, everywhere at the same time! Omniscience, knowing all things! Omnipotent, all powerful! God is awesome!!
Section 2
AN AREA OF DARKNESS
Rejection robs us.
The spirit of rejection is an oppressive spirit. It robs you of joy and peace. Oppression is defined as mental pressure or distress. Therefore, if the spirit of rejection is an oppressive spirit, you can think of it as a tactic by the enemy to push or press you down into the moods or emotions that block you from experiencing freedom and the presence of God’s love in your life.
Does this mean that God’s love has left you? The Bible says that God’s love will never fail (see Psalm 136). Therefore, you must be able to discern what you feel from what is true. This comes from understanding the strategies the enemy uses in the spiritual realm.
When one deals with a spirit of rejection the enemy will cause us to abandon our blessing. We deal with self-hate, self-worth, and a feeling that we do not deserve anything because we want others to accept us. We began to walk in a sort of double-mindedness, and this brings on other spirits such as being unsure, unaware, and apprehensions which will manifest in us causing an imbalance in our lives, vision, purpose, and destiny. Healing comes about through going to God and learning who we are in our vision, purpose, and destiny. (Ref. ACB)
The Word of God tells us “Keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23 KJV-Public Domain).
Section 3
PULLING YOURSELF OUT
In section 3, I will discuss how to help pull yourself out of the spirit of rejection. First, you must admit that you have a spirit of rejection in operation to be delivered from it. You must have an intense desire for the deliverance of God to take place. The desire must be there. You must get a grip and realize what is going on. For others these first three steps will be hard because of the years of deep-rooted rejection. But we must remember what Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (St. Matthew 19:26) The Lord wants us to be healed, delivered, and made free totally. The Word of God says, “With His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5 KJV-Public Domain). Deliverance from the spirit of rejection will have to take place under a “strong ministry” where the anointing for deliverance is going forth! Take charge for you have the authority right in your hands to overcome this demon of rejection, but you must exercise the authority and make the necessary steps to receive it. You have to forget what has been and move on into the now! It will be done when you give it over to the Lord.
Through my experience of conquering the spirit of rejection, I am a witness that it can be done! Do not allow the enemy no more legal ground through this spirit of rejection. You must also replace those old negative thoughts and the lies that the enemy (devil) been feeding you and replace it with wholesome and up-lifting thoughts that only the power and love of God can give. The devil tells us lies, but we must immediately reverse it with the truth in what God has said. The scripture says, But the thief comes not but for to steal, kill and to destroy, but I (Jesus) come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (St. John 10:10) The devil is a liar and a thief, but the Lord gives life to its fullest. The Word of God tells us “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 2) He only wants what is best for His people. He will give you strength, comfort you and speak to your heart as you give your total self to Him. He will replace and do away with all those hurts and pains as the healing process takes place. Your heart will be mended, your mind will be healed, your emotions will be healed, your total being will be healed, delivered, and set free.
A renewed mind
You can no longer spend time together with negative-minded people who constantly reminds you and is constantly throwing up in your face about what you used to do; and the ones that will discourage you, tear you down and destroy your dreams. Your family, friends and associates must be those who will pray with you, uplift you, and encourage you in what you are trying to do to make your life better. Your total concentration must be on what the Lord sees best for you. Begin to put the Lord first in your life and He will take care of all that concerns you. It starts with your thinking. “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind” (Ephesians 4:23 KJV Public Domain). Envision it and see it happening. Think on God and the things of God. Ask God to allow you to only see what He would have you to see and to only hear what He would have you to hear. He will begin to give you innovative ideas, thoughts and revealing to you as like never before. The scripture says: I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. (Psalm 118:17) God has preordained us to have life and that more abundantly full of love, joy, peace, and strength. As you are being delivered, all those old ideas and those thoughts that held you captive are now being eradicated and your life is taking a turn towards better things, more peace, happiness, and harmony. You are a winner: designed to win! As I go into section 4, we will talk about how to keep from falling into rejection again and how keep pushing forward in your deliverance.
Section 4
STAYING WITH IT
Maintaining your deliverance
In this chapter will discuss how to stick to your deliverance. The devil has various tricks and tactics and will try to bring back the spirit of rejection. You must continue to fight and not give in. We must stay in prayer and read the Bible daily on a consistent basis. (Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV-Public Domain) “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall you call upon me, and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken (Listen) to you. And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.” (Ref: ACB Simple Faith) It is essential to stay under an anointed deliverance ministry where the word of God is being taught as well as deliverance going forth and ministered to you to strengthen you and to keep you strengthened. Stay among strong, mature, and seasoned people of God. At times when the enemy comes and tries to make you feel like you are all alone. Remember, you are never alone because the Lord is always with you every step of the way. He said in His word that He will never leave you nor forsake you. Take time to fast as God would lead you or fast days given by your pastor. Continue reading God’s word every day. Ask him daily to anoint you for His work. Sing uplifting songs and make melody in your heart to the Lord. Speak words of encouragement in your heart. Wake up daily in prayer seeking Him, thanking Him, and letting Him know just how much you love Him. Trust in Him and rest in Him, totally. Acknowledge Him in All your ways and He will direct your path. (Proverbs 3:6) Yes, the Lord will direct every area of your life. Put your total trust in the Lord and do not be swayed by what the enemy tries to throw your way. Remember he will throw mirages and try to feed lies to your mind. He does not want you to be delivered and set free from the bondage of rejection. The devil has told so many of us that others will be blessed, but we will not be blessed. Oh No!! The devil is a liar! The Lord has great blessings in store for all who walk upright before Him. Keep trusting in the Lord with all your heart, mind, and all your strength. Whatsoever your need or desire, God has it! Just ask and trust Him! Present unto Him a life that is pleasing unto Him and just watch the blessings of the Lord unfold before your eyes. God does not have any respecter of persons. (Romans 2:11) No, there is no partiality or favoritism when it comes to the Lord. He judges fairly, just like it is! “Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (I Samuel 16:7 KJV-Public Domain)
